Bergamot Mint

Mentha citrata

Bergamot Mint from Aromatics

Bergamot Mint

Mentha citrata

Description

Our organically crafted bergamot mint essential oil is steam distilled from the freshly picked leaves and purple flowers of this minty plant cultivated in India.

This particular mint is soft and gentle, producing an essential oil that is a very mild mint and similar in chemistry and application to lavender and bergamot. It is cherished for its calming and cooling effect in blends and is especially useful when looking to balance and bring a sense of calm to the mind and spirit. It is also a helpful support to the immune system and can ease unwanted muscle spasms. We like to use this essential oil in diffuser blends formulated to be emotionally uplifting and restorative.

Product Q&A
I am wondering if you can give me a recommended application/recipe for dry mouth. The description mentions, "when dealing with a sore and dry mouth" I have a friend asking about this condition.
We like to combine our peppermint hydrosol and add several drops of bergamot mint, which is best used as a mouth rinse.

I actually buy biotene and add bergamot mint to it. It isn't perfect, but it sure does help!

Hot Flashes Gone!!!
I mixed this along with some Clary Sage....stopped my hot flashes in a flash. Also, increasing magnesium/calcium works for hot flashes and clean eating, but when I get a little lazy in that area...this works like a charm!
