Blue Tansy from Aromatics

Blue Tansy

Tanacetum annuum

Description

Blue Tansy is a beautiful dark blue oil that comes from the fresh flowering tops of the plant. Useful for inflamed areas and bug bites. Great to help reduce burning pain and nerve related pain such as sciatica. Use in blends for acute arthritis and fibromyalgia. Use along with helichrysum for bruising!  Very nourishing for the liver and might help resolve feelings of disharmony.

Great as an antihistamine.  With bug bites you can apply one drop neat. This oil is easily confused with Tanacetum vulgare that contains a high content of the extremely toxic thujone.  Blue Tansy doesn't contain any or very minute amounts.

Can't get enough of this aroma! Stunningly beautiful color and heavenly aroma1!
One day I was using this oil in a blend. I happened to spill a drop on the counter. I finished by blend, sealed it and then grabbed a tissue to wipe up the drop. Game over! The aroma of that single drop shifted me to pure bliss. I actually safety pinned the tissue to my shirt for the rest of the day. The wonderful aroma lasted on the tissue the next day also. Feeling blah, one drop on a tissue should take care of that. For some reason I did not get the same results smelling it from the bottle (a good thing I am sure)
