Blue Tansy

Tanacetum annuum

Blue Tansy from Aromatics

Blue Tansy

Tanacetum annuum

Description

Our organically crafted blue tansy essential oil is steam distilled from fresh yellow flowering tops sustainably wildcrafted from the Moroccan countryside.

These beautiful golden flowers create a gorgeous dark blue oil that is sweet, herbaceous and so welcome for helping to reduce pain and inflammation. This is a cooling oil and useful for assisting in helping topical inflammation and to soothe itchy bug bites. We will occasionally put a drop of oil neat on to the skin to act as a topical antihistamine. This essential oil is often used in blends formulated for nerve pain, acute arthritis, and fibromyalgia. Blue tansy can encourage relaxation and help reduce impatience, stress, and the tendency to over worry. One of our favorite ways to use this oil is in a perfume blend to help provide courage and strength during times of transition.

Can't get enough of this aroma! Stunningly beautiful color and heavenly aroma1!
One day I was using this oil in a blend. I happened to spill a drop on the counter. I finished by blend, sealed it and then grabbed a tissue to wipe up the drop. Game over! The aroma of that single drop shifted me to pure bliss. I actually safety pinned the tissue to my shirt for the rest of the day. The wonderful aroma lasted on the tissue the next day also. Feeling blah, one drop on a tissue should take care of that. For some reason I did not get the same results smelling it from the bottle (a good thing I am sure)
