Coriander

Coriandrum sativum

Coriander from Aromatics

Coriander

Coriandrum sativum

Description

Our certified organic coriander essential oil is steamed distilled from the seeds of the flowering herb also known as cilantro or Chinese parsley, cultivated in France.

The seeds from this rich, green leafy herb create a fruity, herbaceous, spicy, sweet essential oil that is calming and balancing. It is similar to rosemary in that it brings clarity to the mind and can clear foggy thinking and help release blocked mental energy – also helping to reduce stress headaches. It is also a general immune system stimulant and a lovely choice when looking to formulate blends for reducing pain and getting rid of unwanted microbes. As Coriander is warming, one of our favorite ways to use this oil is pair with bergamot and balsam fir to help reduce muscle pain and stiffness.
