Our organically crafted niaouli essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the niaouli tree, a member of the myrtle family, growing in Madagascar. Niaouli has several different chemotypes and this particular niaouli essential oil is chemotype 1,8 cineole. One of our favorite ways of using this essential oil is to help support healthy lung and airways function, especially relating to lung and sinus congestion.
The grey, green leaves of this small to medium sized Melaleuca quinquenervia ct 1,8 cineole tree create an earthy, fruity, lemony, sweet, camphor-like essential oil. While many people love the aromatic profile of this essential, some do not care for the smell on its own, and prefer to work with it in blends as opposed to using it by itself. Along with helping to support healthy lung and airway function, niaouli essential oil is a powerful oil to use when looking to reduce the unwanted presence of microbial activity. Try blending niaouli essential oil with tea tree essential oil for a potent synergistic combination that can help reduce the presence of unwelcome bacterial, fungal, or viral activity. Niaouli essential oil can help soothe pain and inflammation, especially when dealing with chronic inflammation or muscle tension. This essential oil is also a lovely skin support and can help with skin challenges such as acne, cuts, burns, and minor infections. Niaouli essential oil can help soothe uninvited muscle spasms and also boost the immune system. Emotionally and energetically, niaouli essential oil uplifts and strengthens. This essential oil helps build self-confidence and strength, and works to reduce fear.
