Rosemary ct verbenone Essential Oil

Rosmarinus officinalis ct verbenone

Description

This certified organic rosemary essential oil is chemotype verbenone and is steam distilled from the flowers and leaves of a rosemary plant rich in the naturally occurring chemical component, verbenone. We love using this essential oil, cultivated in the South African landscape, to help support healthy lung activity, especially relating to congestion caused by a cold or the flu.

The rich, green needle-like leaves and delicate purple flowers of the Rosmarinus officinalis ct verbenone perennial herb create a fresh, herbaceous, camphor-like essential oil. Along with helping to promote healthy lung activity, especially relating to congestion from a cold or the flu, this particular rosemary essential oil is immensely useful with minor pain and inflammation management. This essential oil helps to reduce the presense of unwanted bacterial, fungal, and viral activity. This rosemary essential oil is helpful in supporting healthy, clear skin and may help heal older scars as it is also skin rejuvenating. Try combining this rosemary essential oil with eucalyptus globulus essential oil, white pine essential oil, frankincense essential oil, and/or lavender essential oil in some unscented lotion to help clear congestion and ease muscle tension. This essential oil promotes healthy circulation. Emotionally and energetically, this rosemary essential oil uplifts and energizes. This essential oil encourages mental clarity and helps to stimulate and strengthen the mind.

Safety + Shelf Life

If oxidized it can cause skin irritation or sensitization. The literature suggests that people with epilepsy, high blood pressure, and pregnant women should avoid Rosemary because of the camphor content. It can be a stimulating oil; avoid nighttime use. With children, use at no more than 1% (5-6 drops total in 1 ounce of carrier).  According to Rodney Young and Robert Tisserand, they believe that there is no case for contraindicating any essential oil in someone with high blood pressure.

The suggested shelf life is 4 years.

a definite mood changer for me! Love love it!
This rosemary has such a pleasant aroma that when I first smelled it, I couldn't put the bottle down.I prefer it over Rosemary ct camphor in most situations. I use it any time I need to change perspective and gain more clarity and confidence. The positive effect is so profound that it goes with me everywhere. It is my "go to" to help me stand strong in what I believe and in who I am. I use it the same way for my clients.
