Lavender Hydrosol

Lavandula angustifolia

Lavender Hydrosol from Aromatics

Lavender Hydrosol

Lavandula angustifolia

Description

The aroma of the lavender hydrosol is gentle with a pleasantly sweet and floral scent, combined with hints of honey, making it one of our more warming scents. It is a very inviting smell that promotes good feelings and positivity. The taste of this hydrosol is somewhat bitter when undiluted. However, if sweetened and added to a liquid or food, it tastes delightful.

This hydrosol contains skin-healing and anti-inflammatory properties that can be sprayed onto the skin after exposure to the sun or after an accidental stove-top burn. By adding a few drops of both the lavender and helichrysum essential oils to the lavender hydrosol, your skin will heal more quickly.

Because lavender is so healing for the skin, it can also be combined with helichrysum hydrosol and german chamomile hydrosol for an alternative acne treatment.

The uses of this hydrosol are wide-ranging; whether it is for a sunburn or your pet’s itch, this hydrosol is fantastic for all skin types.

Uses for the lavender hydrosol include:

  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Natural for children
  • Cleansing for cuts and scrapes

Awesome!
I've been using this to mop my floors, bath, face, etc. Love the scent and it's safe for my animals and grand kids.
