Helichrysum (Washington State)

Helichrysum italicum

Description

This Helichrysum italicum is in our collection of local artisan distillers. This is a precious oil that we have a small amount of. The oils previous GC/MS reports on this oil shows it to be very similar to the Corsican oil.

Helichrysum grows wild. It is a small, simple, mustard-colored flower that is subtle and understated. The Helichrysum italicum has a rich curry-like aroma, is potent, and has a quick action. There’s no doubt that our Helichrysum italicum essential oil makes a statement!

Helichrysum essential oil has a strong anti-spasmodic quality and, as a natural analgesic, is one of the best essential oils for pain and muscle spasms. It is also one of the best oils for healing, with impressive wound and injury healing, and cell regenerative properties. Helichrysum italicum is known for its ability to disperse bruises and help reduce scarring. It is especially effective blended with Arnica or Trauma oil as a carrier. It is also used for headaches that stem from liver toxicity. Emotionally, it is known for its support in the case of deep trauma.
