Lemon Verbena Hydrosol Organically Grown from Aromatics

Lemon Verbena Hydrosol Organically Grown

Aloysia citrodora

Description

This Lemon Verbena is from our own Montana gardens. Lovely, lemony and vibrant! Lemon Verbena has a delicate lemon aroma that is gentle and fresh. It is a highly energetic hydrosol which we see in low-yielding plants.

  • Powerful mental relaxant and calming
  • Balancing
  • Sedative properties for that feeling of "a knot in the stomach"
  • General body tonic stimulating the endocrine system, especially the thyroid and pancreas.
  • Digestive aid
  • Strong anti-inflammatory with an affinity for the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose
  • Can be used as a daily mouthwash
  • Clarifier for normal and combination skin
  • Great after shower spritz
  • Works well to help overcome acne

According to Suzanne Catty, it is good combined with rock rose, frankincense, or cornflower to help refine the skin texture and may reduce pore size. On its own or blended with lavender, peppermint or sandalwood it is a great conditioning after shave. Men love the smell as it's neither floral nor fruity. It tastes delicious!
