Myrtle (Green)

Myrtus communis

Description

We have Green Myrtle and Red Myrtle. Green Myrtle is from Corsica whereas the Red Myrtle typically comes from Morocco as well as Albania. Both Myrtles are a soft and lovely oil to use during a cold or flu to reduce tension, congestion and muscle pains. May help get rid of headaches and to help clear the mind when it feels foggy. It is a wonderful oil to add to a diffuser, bath or body lotion. Soothing for the digestive system when dealing with gas, cramps and an upset stomach.

Green Myrtle may be beneficial as an antispasmodic as well as keeping germs at bay and may help to inhibit the growth of viruses associated with daily life. Helpful when a boost is needed for daily antifungal issues, especially Candida. Useful for red and irritated conditions, bringing soothing relief.
