Safety + Shelf Life

Safety: Hypericin (in St. John's Wort) has been associated with photosensitivity when taken orally but there haven't been any studies that suggest there might be a photosensitivity reaction when used on the skin. Schempp warns that there could be increased photosensitizing properties when applied to lesional skin and in fair-skinned individuals after extended time in the sun.

The suggested shelf life is approximately 2-3 years. .

Product Q&A
Should trauma oil be refrigerated? I refrigerated mine and became very thick. Is that normal? Thanks.
Trauma oil doesn't need to be refrigerated. The oils will begin to solidy but should thin as it is left at room temperature.

Blood Clots
I have a client that is susceptible to blood clots and was told by someone that I should avoid using arnica in any of his blends. I am not sure if this is accurate or not. Is there a way to get this oil without arnica and have you ever heard of this before?

Simply the Best
I'm very new to essential oils, and I'm learning more every day. They have helped me so much that I wanted to help my husband with his back pain. He's had two fusions and the disc above and below the fusion are bad now. He has terrible sciatic pain and pain that runs down into his hip. The doctors have prescribe powerful pain medications that don't really do anything to help the pain and they make him so sleepy and groggy. He really didn't believe in oils, but out of desperation he let me put some on his back. I applied just the trauma oil (not blended with anything and he said within a few minutes he could feel the pain just drain out of his body. The pain relief would last a few hours which was incredible for him and he was able to get some rest. Last night I blended it with Frankincense and applied it to his hip and he said the pain relief lasted almost all night. He now says he is a believer in oils, and he's thrilled he's found relief for his pain without taking pain meds. Thank you so much for making such an incredible product. I will continue to purchase it from you. smile

Amazing. This is my favorite by far. It works so well!
I just love this trauma oil. I use it for my sciatica and in blends for pain and inflammation. I won't be able to live without it now. It makes all the difference when creating blends for pain and discomfort! I prefer Aromatics blend over most others Ive tried. I LOVE that it is infused with Olive oil (rather than coconut or jojoba wax) and this blend contains Calendula, a herb that a lot of other trauma blends are missing.

Rescue for Rosacea
Faced recently with a flare-up of rosacea and surprised that none of my usual oil blends helped, in desperation I tried the Trauma Oil on my cheeks. I'm delighted to report it made a difference almost immediately. Less redness, less itching. Relief!
