Magnolia Absolute contains eugenol and other fragrance allergens and may cause sensitization in susceptible individuals. Use in low dilutions on the skin (1 to 3 drops per 1 oz of carrier) and avoid irritated or damaged skin. Not phototoxic. Not to be used neat (undiluted) on the skin. Do not use with babies and children. Essential Oil Safety by Tisserand and Young states that oils high in eugenol should be used with caution on those with impaired liver function and should not be used by people who have clotting disorders.
