General Safety TipsPeppermint essential oil is a stronger essential oil due to its chemical composition. We recommend using a maximum of 1-2% dilution when using topically. Additionally, we recommend avoiding use with children under the age of 5 (although peppermint hydrosol can be a wonderful alternative for kids or those who are more sensitive to this oil). We also recommend using this essential oil within its recommended 5-year shelf-life for the maximum therapeutic benefit.
