Cornflower Hydrolat (Hydrosol)

Cornflower hydrolat (hydrosol)’s light, floral, slightly herbal aroma is smooth and pleasant. This hydrolat is very popular during allergy season for refreshing the eyes. (When freshly distilled, within 6 to 12 months of the distillation date, cornflower is one of only three hydrolats we recommend for misting onto closed eyes.) It also has cooling, toning effects for skin that can help create a more radiant, matte complexion. Our certified organic cornflower hydrolat is steam distilled in the USA from the blue flowers of annual cornflower plants, cultivated specifically for hydrolat distillation. We're moving our 100 ml hydrolats into clear glass bottles, so yours may arrive in clear or amber glass while we use up our amber stock. We prefer clear glass because it lets you see if a hydrolat's color changes. Keep it somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight.

    I take Cotton rounds & soak them in Cornflower Hydrosol & place them on my facial clients eyelids while there facial mask is also setting. It works great for eye puffiness.

    Allergy Relief
