Description
Cinnamon leaf essential oil smells like a cinnamon stick—sweet, spicy, and woodsy! Its bold presence inspires motivation and energy. While people tend to love cinnamon leaf’s scent, germs don’t! Use it to clean surfaces or purify the air to help protect immunity. Cinnamon leaf is rich in eugenol (also found in clove bud oil), which gives it a warm, spicy touch. Our wildcrafted cinnamon leaf essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh leaves of wild Ceylon cinnamon trees in the forests of Madagascar.

Relieve - Soreness

Dilute cinnamon leaf oil in a nourishing carrier to make a care blend for a cold, sore, tender area.

Purify - Germs

Fiery cinnamon leaf oil is perfect for reducing germs. Use it in a cleaner for damp areas like shower stalls.

Safety & Warnings

Cinnamon Leaf is high in the component Eugenol, a Phenol. Phenols are considered to be the most irritating components to the skin and mucous membranes and can cause dermatitis and sensitization. If phenols are present in high concentrations in an essential oil, that oil should be used in very low dilutions on the skin (0.5% or less in a carrier) and for short periods of time. They are generally not safe for the skin in a bath. Use caution if diffusing or using in an inhaler. Phenols high oils are not used with babies and children. Not to be used neat (undiluted) on the skin. Essential Oil Safety by Tisserand and Young (second edition), states that oils high in eugenol should be used with caution on those with impaired liver function. Eugenol rich oils should not be used by people who have clotting disorders, as eugenol is an anticoagulant.

A Passion for Aromatherapy

Aromatics International would not be what it is today without your shared belief in what we do, what we stand for, and how we conduct our aromatherapy practice.

I embarked on my journey to source pesticide-free, sustainable products from small-scale farmers and a major criteria of mine is that everything I source is both aromatically vibrant and also therapeatically effective. I love sharing what I find in this world with others. I am constantly blown away by the positive response I receive from all of you. I thank all of you for your strong support throughout the years and am continually inspired by the warm words you share with me. It truly keeps me going.

Love, Karen

Foot soak

At the moment I’m using it along with grapefruit, tea tree, and oregano for a foot fungus soak. It really seems to be helping.

Love this oil and use it when I make my own Thieves Oil. Great to diffuse as well.

Cinnamon Leaf Oil

I am very impressed with the quality of this oil. I have bought other brands but this particular oil is of a superior quality. I will definitely buy it again, and tell me friend that uses it as well.
