Populus balsamifera

Balsam Poplar from Aromatics

Balsam Poplar

Populus balsamifera

Description

Our organically crafted balsam poplar essential oil is steam distilled from the sustainably wildcrafted buds of the deciduous balsam poplar tree native to certain forests in Canada. We love using this essential oil to help relieve pain and inflammation, especially relating to unwanted muscle tension.

The delicate buds of the Populus balsamifera tree create a fresh, resinous, sweet, balsamic, sensual, woodsy essential oil. The process of wild crafting the buds used to make our balsam poplar essential oil is particularly labor intensive and the stunning aromatics make it so worth it the extra effort. Along with using this essential oil for managing pain and inflammation, balsam poplar essential oil is a beautifully skin nourishing and a lovely oil to include in blends formulated for skin support. We love making body butters and including balsam popular essential oil to help reduce scaring, heal burns, and other skin related challenges. Balsam poplar essential oil is helpful when looking to reduce unwanted microbial activity and to ease painful muscle spasms. This essential oil is considered an antioxidant. Emotionally and energetically, balsam poplar essential oil soothes and protects. This essential oil can help heal old, deep emotional wounds as it is incredibly balancing emotionally.
