Description
Balsam poplar essential oil has a fresh, sweet, resinous, woodsy aroma with layers of sensual warmth. It creates an atmosphere allowing for deep emotional healing. True to its nature, balsam poplar also offers restoration on physical levels. Use a few drops in skincare—for daily nourishment, soothing irritation, nourishing scars—or comforting muscles or joints. The labor-intensive process of steam distilling our organically crafted balsam poplar oil involves collecting the tree's buds in undisturbed Canadian forests. The complex, nourishing essential oil is worth it!

A Passion for Aromatherapy

Aromatics International would not be what it is today without your shared belief in what we do, what we stand for, and how we conduct our aromatherapy practice.

I embarked on my journey to source pesticide-free, sustainable products from small-scale farmers and a major criteria of mine is that everything I source is both aromatically vibrant and also therapeatically effective. I love sharing what I find in this world with others. I am constantly blown away by the positive response I receive from all of you. I thank all of you for your strong support throughout the years and am continually inspired by the warm words you share with me. It truly keeps me going.

Love, Karen

Does the trick!

I made a healing ointment with Balsam Poplar Essential Oil as its main ingredient for my mother who has arthritis in her fingers and wrists. She applies this ointment nightly and has felt positive results. Her sharp pain that keeps her up at night has decreased and during some nights has completely dissipated.

Take a Spring time forest wander

This extraction is exactly what I imagined it to be. The smell of spring when the poplar buds are about to bloom, and the spring rain and mist blankets the forest. Green, notes of honey, cedar, grass and sap. Very intense, yet leaves a warm, soft after sent. A must have if you are an outdoors lover or nature guru.
