White Sage has many wonderful characteristics. The main focus for the purchase this time is to be useful as a cleansing smudge. It is great in places where smoke wouldn't be utilized. I have also used sweet grass hydosol for this purpose. Best of all I mixed both to use to cleanse meditation areas.

I was very disappointed in this product. I had once purchased lavender hydrosol and it smelled very distinctively different than lavender, or any version of lavender, very thickly sweet with some unidentified odor. So I had hope that was a fluke with the lavender and it wouldn’t be true of this hydrosol. However, this product smelled just like the previous hydrosol I purchased, sweet and heavy and not a bit like sage, which I do have experience with “odor wise” so it should have been some lighter version of that fragrance. It did not. I will not be purchasing any hydrosol again.
