Cape chamomile’s rich aroma smells like sweet apples, with floral notes and an earthy, herbaceous undertone. A member of the daisy family, cape chamomile is profoundly soothing for the skin. It also calms the emotions, and can get you through long periods of stress without sacrificing your peace of mind. Our wildcrafted cape chamomile essential oil comes from the mountain slopes of the South African coast, where the tiny white flowers are sustainably harvested and steam distilled.

A Passion for Aromatherapy

Aromatics International would not be what it is today without your shared belief in what we do, what we stand for, and how we conduct our aromatherapy practice.

I embarked on my journey to source pesticide-free, sustainable products from small-scale farmers and a major criteria of mine is that everything I source is both aromatically vibrant and also therapeatically effective. I love sharing what I find in this world with others. I am constantly blown away by the positive response I receive from all of you. I thank all of you for your strong support throughout the years and am continually inspired by the warm words you share with me. It truly keeps me going.

Love, Karen

This oil helps my children relax after a long day. I just place a couple drops in the diffuser and they are out!!

Sweet Smelling Oil

This oil is phenomenal. It is on the more on the expensive side, however it’s quality is clearly evident. I diffuse it with my lavender and bergamot mint for anxiety and feel extremely calm. Well worth the cost!

Great quality

One of my favourite essential oils but difficult to find in Canada. Previously we've shipped directly from South Africa but this one from Aromatics was a great find - high quality, excellent price and customer service. Will be back!

One of the very best sleep aids available

I have purchased two different batches of Aromatics International's cape chamomile and it is an oil that I would never want to be without. It's very beautiful and relaxing. I once held a baby who was fussing as her mother tried to help her fall asleep. She went right to sleep in my arms. It took me a bit to realize I'd applied cape chamomile earlier and there was still a lingering scent. It's a great alternative to roman chamomile for people who want the anti-spasmodic effect and the relaxation but can't seem to find a roman chamomile that they can truly love. It's extremely potent, so even though it's one of the more expensive oils, a little bit goes a long way. I have sampled from several companies, and Aromatics International's is the absolute best.

Such a clean, clear smell!

Chamomile Cape Oil has been in almost every diffuser blend I’ve made since buying it a month ago, mostly with artisan lavender and sweet orange. I’ve started using it in my therapy office, and my clients have remarked on how fresh and clean the office smells. My guess is they leave just a little calmer and happier, too! I know I do.
