Cascade is the hop variety that shaped American craft brewing, and the essential oil carries that same signature. Grapefruit and bright citrus come first, florals sit underneath, and it finishes with a note of pepper and spice. If you know our Pekko, this one is sharper and more citrus-forward — Pekko leans minty and green, with cucumber and sage. Hops belongs to the Cannabaceae family, and its oil shares terpenes with cannabis and hemp. Those terpenes live in the yellow lupulin resin inside the flower. Our distiller in the Northwestern USA steam distills unprocessed, fresh-picked flowers, which is what gives the oil its depth — and the finished oil is welcomed and unrestricted in jurisdictions worldwide.
