Xanthoxylum Essential Oil

Zanthoxylum armatum

Xanthoxylum’s aroma is unique, combining floral, fresh, and fruity elements for an exotic scent that can help to quiet the entire system. It’s popular for sleep support during cold season, as it can encourage clear breathing and allow the body to find deep, tranquil rest that helps restore wellness. Xanthoxylum oil is also comforting for muscles, and makes a good addition to belly cramp blends. Our wildcrafted xanthoxylum essential oil is steam distilled from the red, sun-dried fruits of small evergreen trees in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal.

    Exotic

Yes, it is. It's musky, earthy, however, there's also a lightness that lifts the oil up, so you have a few different things happening here! Very excited to work with this oil.

    Elegant

It's aroma is like Elegant fruity feminine bliss . A more masculine nuance would be Sughanda Kokila, which smells sort of the same but more woodsy.

I enjoy is to calm down my mind (I have schizophrenia) and I heard about xanthoxylum in a herbal nerology book (Dr. Jill). So I use it as quit aromatherapy when in need, Like at work... in a roller bottle.

    Product review

I have used rosewood in the past to combine it with rose geranium and a few others in my soap making . It’s less costly than rose absolute ! Love this essential oil
