Cranberry Seed Oil - Expired

Vaccinium macrocarpon

This cranberry seed oil is past its expiration date and is no longer recommended for therapeutic or skin-care use. It's being offered at a reduced price for cleaning and household applications only.Although it can no longer be used on skin or hair, this oil still has plenty of life left for around-the-house tasks. Its light texture and subtle aroma make it well-suited to wood care — buff it into furniture, wooden tool handles, or cutting board handles for a natural polish, adding a few drops of citrus essential oil for extra shine. It also works beautifully for conditioning leather, restoring suppleness to bags, boots, and belts. Dab a bit onto sticky residue from price tags, label glue, or tape to lift it off glass and metal, or use a drop or two as a quick lubricant for squeaky hinges and stiff drawer slides. Wiped onto the metal blades of pruners, shears, and shovels, it helps prevent rust between uses. You can also pair it with antimicrobial essential oils as the carrier in homemade surface-cleaning blends, or blend it with essential oils on a reed diffuser or scent stone for passive diffusion (not for active diffusion or therapeutic use). Originally a certified organic, unrefined, extra-virgin oil cold pressed in Canada — yellow with a faint green hue and a delicate trace of fruity aroma.
