Fresh and clean, the aroma of ravintsara essential oil strongly resembles eucalyptus. It even shares the same main component as eucalyptus, called "1,8-cineole." This makes ravintsara an exceptional choice for opening the breath, protecting immunity against seasonal threats, and feeling mentally sharp. Ravintsara can offer the energy and strength to get things done during the cold season. Our wildcrafted ravintsara essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of evergreen trees in Madagascar's high, dry plateau forests. Ravintsara is not to be confused with "ravensara oil."

    Great for cold & flu season!

    Well, guess that's anytime, really, depending on where you live!

    We like to diffuse it near the front door to "cut those germs off at the pass" so to speak, as we get neighbors and visitors, as well as delivery drivers, almost every day!

    In the past 18+ years only one of us has gotten the flu, once, and no colds (knock-on-wood; we don't want to jinx it, lol).

    We diffuse other essential oils, too, like 'Lemongrass ct Rhodinol' (good bug repellent) and 'Patchouli' and 'Vetiver' and all of these work well together, as well as separately!

    Great company, great oils! Highly recommend!
