Sweet Almond Oil

Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis

Our certified organic Sweet Almond Oil is unrefined and cold-pressed from the sweet edible almond tree Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis. Sweet Almond oil has long been used to improve complexion and skin tone due to its emollient and moderate skin-penetrating properties. Comprised of over 60% of monounsaturated oleic acid, this carrier oil is great for massages, blends to help decrease the occasional inflammation, especially with joint stiffness, and has wonderful antioxidant properties. This oil is rich in linoleic acid (20-30%) and vitamin E. This oil is naturally almost odorless.

    Great carrier oil

    Love this oil as I created a recipe to help with a scar I have from a fall I took. I have a nice scar but I'm healing it with Helichrysum, Frankincense and the wonderful Sweet Almond Oil.
