Description
White turmeric is in the ginger family and has much in common with ginger itself. (It’s more like ginger than like yellow turmeric). White turmeric’s energizing scent is warm, spicy, and woody with a eucalyptus-like note. It has an affinity for the belly and for warming and comforting the muscles and joints. Our wildcrafted white turmeric essential oil (also called “Nar Kachur” and “zedoary”) is steam distilled from the rhizomes of flowering plants in the Terai belt of Nepal—a flat, lowland, swampy region in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Suggested Uses

Relieve - Muscle Aches

Make a post-workout shower gel with white turmeric to care for (and help prevent) tight, achy muscles.

Digest - Queasiness

Don’t like traveling on boats? Bring along a white turmeric inhaler to help settle your belly.

Digest - Gas

After a favorite meal, use a white turmeric belly oil to support your digestion process and help prevent gas.

A Passion for Aromatherapy

Aromatics International would not be what it is today without your shared belief in what we do, what we stand for, and how we conduct our aromatherapy practice.

I embarked on my journey to source pesticide-free, sustainable products from small-scale farmers and a major criteria of mine is that everything I source is both aromatically vibrant and also therapeatically effective. I love sharing what I find in this world with others. I am constantly blown away by the positive response I receive from all of you. I thank all of you for your strong support throughout the years and am continually inspired by the warm words you share with me. It truly keeps me going.

Love, Karen
