Benefits and uses

Lavender contains anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and analgesic properties, making it especially beneficial to use on cuts, scrapes, burns, and other similar types of wounds. Add a couple of drops of Lavender and Helichrysum italicum essential oils to this lavender artisan hydrosol for an even more effective skin healer. We also recommend combining our lavender artisan hydrosol with our helichrysum hydrosol and German chamomile hydrosol for alternative acne treatment.

Lavender hydrosol is gentle and safe for both children and pets. Suzanne Catty, author of Hydrosols: The Next Aromatherapy, even recommends adding it to a baby’s bath or combining it with chamomile to help soothe diaper rashes. Our lavender artisan hydrosol is even safe to consume. Its taste is somewhat bitter when undiluted; however, if sweetened and added to a liquid or food, it tastes delightful. If you are a fan of lavender, like we are, this fantastic lavender artisan hydrosol is one you simply must try!
