Lemongrass ct. rhodinol essential oil’s aroma is herbal, with soft notes of lime and rose (calming and lovely!) This is a rare lemongrass variety. Most lemongrass is rich in “citral,” which purifies against germs and irritates the skin. This special lemongrass oil is rich in “rhodinol” (a unique combination of citronellol and geraniol). While it’s still powerful against germs and fungi, it’s also skin nourishing. Use lemongrass ct. rhodinol to soothe irritation and protect vulnerable skin from germs. Our organically grown lemongrass ct. rhodinol is cultivated in the lush countryside of India.

    Great bug repellent!

    Living in a tropical environment, we use this all the time! Great for ants, roaches, spiders, gnats, flies, and all manner of creepy-crawlies that share the environment with us here in Hawaii!

    We use it in an electric water diffuser as well as wiping down the countertops & appliances with it, and putting some in a couple of stand-alone little Australian tree-pod diffusers. We very seldom have bug problems in our place despite the abundant amount of bugs in the islands. Occasionally, if we're chatting with someone in our doorway and just standing around not paying attention, one of the wild cockroaches that live up in the trees here will fly into our place!

    Or one of those huge Oriental black beetles will crawl up through a drainpipe into the shower, after the maintenance guys have been whacking trees and bushes or mowing the lawns that day.

    Or ants have sent a scouting party inside looking for food. Or an errant spider shows up just hanging around. We keep a couple of spray bottles of white vinegar infused with essential oils to chase them out of here.

    Other oils that work well with the Lemongrass are Patchouli & Vetiver. They all seem to deter crawling & flying critters!

    This company has the best quality oils and we are happy to have discovered them!

    Great flea repellant

    I use a couple drops of lemongrass on my large dogs after a bath. They smell wonderful and it helps repel fleas.

    Good for sleep

    I wanted an oil to pair with spikenard and Xanthoxylum, but regular lemongrass can be a bit to energizing, so I went with this one. Works very nice in a blend for a pillow.
